Recently there has been a lot of discussion about environmental protection and sustainability. It is all very well to talk about making your business more environmentally friendly, but what is needed is action! As a manufacturer and supplier of coating systems we feel that we are under a special obligation to reduce our emissions and to set an example of good environmental practice. We regularly review our activities with regard to sustainability and environmental compliance and are constantly looking for further improvements. We have been a member of the Energy Agency for the Economy since 2013 and thus actively contribute to economic climate protection.

This is what we are doing:

Unique disposal and recycling system

Decorators, plasterers and the owners of paint shops and powder coating companies who use our products can benefit from our unique recycling system after only a few formalities. The system includes paint recycling, waste reuse and container returns.

Developing environmentally friendly products and procedures

Our developers focus on creating low-emission coatings. Over 93% of our products are water-based and contain no solvents.

Actively reducing our impact with environmentally friendly manufacturing processes

A state-of-the-art waste air treatment unit removes all emissions during the cleaning and production processes and transforms them into heat. An efficient heat exchanger system allows this to be used for heating and production purposes.

Our wastewater treatment system removes dirt and pollution in a three-stage cleaning process. After this the contaminants are disposed of safely.

We have reduced the amount of wastewater we produce by reusing the water needed to clean our machines before a change of product in our production process where this is possible for quality reasons.

Our vacuum distillation system removes large quantities of paint shop waste containing VOCs. The resulting clean solvents are used internally for cleaning purposes.

As you noticed, we take the environment and society needs seriously. We work actively towards genuinely sustainable solutions.
