Responsibility

KARL BUBENHOFER AG has been carrying a major responsibility as a manufacturer of high-quality products and individual system solutions since 1908. Every year, we buy from around 300 suppliers from more than 25 different countries. We have a partnership and long-term cooperation with our suppliers, which is based on honest and open communication, competence, and trust. We are prepared to pay fair prices for guaranteed quality, high flexibility, good delivery reliability and valuable innovations. This makes sustainability and fairness essential components of KARL BUBENHOFER AG's purchasing policy. Therefore, adhering to our company values and compliance guidelines are absolute requirements for any cooperation. We are aware of our responsibility as buyers. Therefore, our suppliers are prepared to comply with their due of diligence in relation to minerals and metals from conflict areas or child labor according to (DDTrO¹ of 3 December 2021 CH and LkSG² of 16 July DE).

Transparency

We review each year whether we need to apply the reporting and due diligence duties for the two areas of conflict materials and child labor. If this is the case, we work with a risk management system that helps us assess the dangers of sourcing products from conflict and high-risk areas and about child labor. If we recognize a risk in our supply chain, then various measures can be brought about to avert and minimize it. If a violation of one of the laws DDTrO¹ or LkSG² should occur, KARL BUBENHOFER AG will take the appropriate remedial action. In addition, it is possible to report concerns about minerals and metals from conflict or high-risk areas and child labor in the supply chain at any time³.
